Default speaker wire connecter

Opened up my door panel to check out my malfunctioning speaker and the wire is broken. I would like to just get a new wire connecter (the one that connects the wire to the speaker) but can't seem to find the part anywhere. anyone know where I can get some?

edit: i have a '99 xj

Most speakers just use a spade connector that you can get at any auto parts or hardware store.

Are they factory speakers? Some have a crazy plug, if that is the case I would replace the speakers and put on spade terminals... Got a pic?

Just use the old one and splice it up to your new wiring. Or you could take the connector to radio shack and see if they have it.

the wire broke off inside the piece and isn't reusable. anyone recommend some inexpensive new speakers that will fit?

Define "inexpensive" I got a set of kicker 5.25" speakers for $50 and they were a bit of a squeeze. I still have yet to find a set that will fit correctly in the front doors and I have tried polk, kicker, pyle, even a new set of boston acoustics. What I did is used the oem speaker from a junkyard and picked a connector out with it. The terminals come out rather easy with a paper clip. from there you can solder the new wire on. as long as the terminal goes back in the hole, it will work fine.
