Default Speaker setups

Hey guys, I'm in the process of revamping the sound system in my Jeep...it was still the stock speakers and headunit from 20 years ago

I've got a pair of 5 1/4" and a pair of 6x9" speakers on order, and I'm wondering where the best place to put them is. I've seen people put the 6x9"s in the front door and the rear hatches...so show me what you've done! If you've got pictures, that would be even better

I have 4 nice Kenwood 5.25's in the stock locations. I'm going to install a 12inch sub for some low ends.My new Kenwood player sounds really good too.

Hertz 5 1/2 in front doors, Hertz 6" in sound bar drivin with Pioneer
DEH-P590IB for now. Sounds good enough for now but have future plans for Dyno-matting the roof and rear quarter panel, Adding a 8 or 10' sub and amping it all up... Just can't spare the ca$h, I'm only a few bucks away from the lift kit on my other project...

I've got two 5.25's in the front doors, two 6x9's in the rear hatch (used a router to open the holes in the glastic liner board, before mounting) One 10" sub in the rear passenger pocket. (Covered with headliner material to match) Didn't want to give up cargo space. A 1400 watt Pyle 5 channel amp under the rear seat. Gives me 250w to the four corners, 400w to the sub. Don't want the sub to over power the rest. Speaker are all Rockford's, Head unit is a Pioneer DEH-P900HHD (Has a 10 gig hard drive built in, Holds 160 hours of music, And not MP3 format.) These came out in 2000, listed at $1800. 10 yrs. later still worth $400. There incredible! I did throw a layer of sound damping material under the door, hatch, quarter, headliner panels. to get rid of road noise, etc. this stereo is staying in forever. Sounds like a concert hall.

I did cheap walmart speakers and head for 100$. Also the speakers light up... Honestly the radio is meant to cover up random noises in my renix era XJ.

Alpine head unit and amp.

Polk 5 1/4" & separate tweeter components in soundbar w/crossovers.

Polk 6 1/2" & separate tweeter components w/crossovers in Q-forms up front. The Q-forms are molded kick panels made to mount speakers into. I bought mine at Crutchfield.

Polk 4" two ways mounted in stock door location.

Alpine amp powers all four tweeters & 5 1/4" & 6 1/2" separates and is mounted under the passenger's side seat. The head unit powers the 4" two ways mounted in the doors.

I added an 8" Blaupunkt self powered sub under the diver's seat to fill out the bass.

The system plays very loud and very clear. If rap is your thing, you would want a bigger sub. For accurate representation of classic and hard rock, it sounds great. Plus, everything appears pretty stock.

That's a nice setup.
Well so far everywhere I've looked just says to cut a hole in the rear hatch with a dremel or a similar tool and mount the speakers...doesn't look too hard. I still haven't seen/heard of anyone mounting 6x9s in the front doors. Would that even be possible?
