well after reading many reviews on the e3 plugs, i think i will just stay with either the champions or ngk plugs
just about every review i read said the improvement noticed wasnt enough to justify the cost
while oem plugs may not burn the fuel better, i think a good ngk plug is what im going with
those reviews were almost 100% happy with the results

Hey u guys with the e3s have you noticed or smelled anything like it was burning hotter.
And I think the bad reviews are mostly from people who have no idea what a spark plug does or it's limitations. They want an improvement of 10-15 miles per gallon= bad review.
Meanwhile those in the know are very happy with 1-2 miles a gallon and a lifetime guarantee and really it's six bucks.

ahh i dont know now, i know from a few of you guys with older jeeps they are awesome
but i wonder if they will be the same with the coil packs
im willing to give them a try, but i dont want to spend 50 on plugs, and have problems when i know some ngks would have been nice
hmmm...

OK how about this get ngk plugs and change all the spark boots while youre at it have 00xj and am kicking around same idea as you as tjwalker will point out to you 00 & 01 xjs have 0331 cyl. head which is prone to cracking when overheated so change t-stat and coolant

yes i know, this week has been all about maintenence on the jeep
here is what i did
1 can of seafoam in the tank
2 new 02 sensors
oil change
coolant flush with new thermostat
differential fluid change
transfer case fluid change
transmission flush
cleaned throttle body
new napa gold air filter
reset jeep ecu
i figured plugs would be my last thing, but i wanted to know plugs are worth it, and which aint worth a ****
other than that, i think the jeep should be ready to go

lifetime warranty on plugs for 50 bucks? I'll take it. and the 00 wrangler i was talking about has coil packs. 1-2 mpg extra will pay for itself and more
naw didn't really notice it running hotter or a smell, i have a highflow cat so i smell the exhaust more than the stock cat so i probably cant tell.
What you should do is, get the e3's then get accel wires

well today i bought my new plugs, i went with ngk plugs
may not be as good as the e3, but i think it will be better than the orginals that are in the jeep
so in review, i replaced or redid
flushed radiator, heater core
new thermostat
new diff fluid (synthetic)
new plugs
new air filter
trans flushed
new o2 sensors
cleaned throttle body
reset ecu
other than the up and coming oil change what else do i got to do?
i think i got everything i can do for mpg's..?
