Default which spark plugs?

I took on some water last night wheeling...the mud hole was deeper than I thought and now I got a cylinder 3 misfire. so I believe its just the spark plugs...everything seems to be ok, other than a moan, but I think its just the ac compressor. Anyways to the point, what are some of the best spark plug for the jeeps? It's a 2001 if that matters at all. Thanks ahead of time!

the gap requirements are on a sticker under your hood with other info. I believe its a .035 gap but my 97 might not be the same as yours.

Edit: correct cap is. 035

Champion coppers, NGK coppers, or the ACCEL plugs. All are great. Gap is .035

Yeah mine is also .035. I just hear that ngk coppers are better for later models while champion coppers are better for earlier

NGK Coppers are my recommendation for the 00-01 with the distributorless ignition. Champions are okay, but the gap seems to enlarge out of spec quicker than the NGKs do.

Gap is .035 for all of the 4.0 engines.

I went with the Bosch coppers...fired right up when I got done, so at least no hitches there...the only thing I have an issue with now is my ac compressor has a deep whine but only when the clutch for it is disengaged, when it kicks on, noise is gone, and it is really annoying. Any ideas?

Replace the A/C compressor (have an A/C shop do it, they have the tools required by law).

I used NGKs, have had em for about 5,000 miles. So far so good.
