Ok so I try to loosen it and it gets tighter? Wtf the hole is cross threaded! What do I do. Do I have to get a new cyl head?

squirt some PB blaster around it and work it back and fourth and see if it frees it.
Worst comes to worst you will have to helicoil it, not sure it can be done with the head still on the engine.

Probably has carbon buil-up on it. Try removing it after the engine is hot.
Spray some penetrating oil on it and slowly work it back and forth. Hopefully,
it's not crossed.

This is a comin problem for Fords with the triten motors. Heliecoil is done to fix them and dealers do not take the head off. Guess all those fine shards just get blown out the tail pipe.

Done that fix dozens of times at work, you just crank it over with the plug out after the tap & helicoil install and it blows out most of the shavings from you tapping it out, 100% success rate thus far.
The OP's situation sounds more to me like the plug is siezed rather than crossthreaded, as many have, stated, keep shooting the penetrent in there and work it back and forth (patience is your friend) once you get it out do yourself a favor and apply a tiny bit of copper antisieze to the threads of the new plug. You'll thank yourself for that later!

Run some seafoam in it if it's carbon it will be gone hopefully. It works on the valves so it should clean the threads up.
