I have bought three sets of plugs in the last 11 years.
One set in my Ranger, 140K miles and was still strong when I sold it.
One set in my MJ, now 70K miles and still the plugs are running strong.
One set in my new, yet to be installed, engine.
And yet......I come to these forums and read, you guys **** and ***** and moan.....this plug that plug..........yada yada......

Maybe Chumpion has issues with getting their plugs correct in the beginning?

I have been working on engines since I was 10. The only plug I have ever had to fail was Champion. Not just one. Multiple plugs many times. Just a short time after installation.
Not suspecting the plug at all, I don't know how much time and money I spent trying to chase down the cause of what was happening. It would turn out to be a not very old Champion plug. Sometimes two or three on the same engine. Sometimes even the replacements were bad.
So all you Champion lovers can sleep on your Champion bed sheets, wear your Champion jackets and hats, plaster your car with Champion stickers, and enjoy your Champion toilet paper for all I care.
I, for one, am not going back. Been bitten too many times. I'm just trying to save someone else the trouble I went through.

Renix and early HOs used FR5.
HOs used FR5-1
An upgrade for the FR5s is the FR5GP
In that order below:
