Spare in the way
How do you get that spare out of the back of the jeep and still make it clean looking? I want to get it out of there, but there is that ugly cut out.

I am pretty sure he has a 98. The pre 97 era does not have that ugly cut out. I dont know if you could swap a panel from that era in though.

if your worried about that little dimple in the fender then cut if out and put sheet metal in to make it flat. imo if your worried about things that little i wouldnt take the jeep out wheeling cuz youre going to have bigger problems than that as a result of wheeling.

It is a 98. I would post some pics but the camera is broke. Your right I try to keep my Jeep in pretty nice shape and take care of it because it is my daily driver. I may be a little too picky but I love my Jeep. Thanks Tuxfan 212 for the panel idea out of a 97' I might have to look into something like that.

I ran into this problem when I relocated my spare to my roof rack so I just got a pvc coated u-bolt and mounted my four way wrench to the mounting bracket the spare used. Looks half way decent and a good place to mount the tool.
