Default Spare Tire?

I had one of the little OEM donut spares, now I found a full sized replacement, but not quite sure how to mount it in the back of the cherokee with the OEM parts. Does anyone have photos on how to mount a full sized spare?

Dumb question I know.

I had a doughnut when I got my truck. When i threw the full size spare in, I used the same pin and wing nut that the pony was on, but just stuck it through the stud hole instead of the center. There was just enough room to close the hatch without it hitting.

My 89 came with a full size spare from factory. It was bolted through the lug hole, similar to the doughnut spare.

So with the full sized spare is the face of the wheel facing the wall or out towards center?

yea, I got a better solution... do what i did, when i upgraded to a full size spare i just strapped it to the roof... freed up more cargo space inside

before i got the basket, i was using a 2x6

and before that i was just on the roof
