Imagine you had a block lift in the back... and it well out going 80 on the interstate... safe? NO...

That should be it actually... grab the rubber spacer in the 5.2/5.9 ZJ thats with the coil while your at it... if you pull it yourself... also the 5.9 only came in the 98 model ZJ... and are freakin bad ***... said to be faster then the new grand cherokee SRT... so finding one in a junk yard... doubt itll happen... most ZJ's had the 4.0 and 5.2 V8

Quite simple actually. Remove the spring. take off your bump stop and put em in. put it all back together and wala. Thats really about it. If you can put a lift on it should be a breaze for you to put a spacer on.

No, I live in Bham now...used to live in Douglasville, been in Bham for about 2 years or so.

4WD does have some stuff out you can look at...lot of wheels/tires, some seats, brushguard, bumpers, winches, lights, batteries etc. Diffently more of a parts store though and more towards the TJ's

I did a little bit of looking around online the other day and found a guy do a 2" lift with Grand Cherokee springs and a AAL. but for the AAL he used the the big leaf out of another cherokee pack. The guy also showed the before and after pictures of the measurements and gave the measurement after it sagged. Is this a good idea?

Yeah, just Google Fat Bob's Garage. The 3" BB we put on my son's XJ was a 1" and 2" spacer stacked together and a 3" AAL for the rear. It sat nice and level and 31" Dunlop Mud Rovers looked awesome on it.

At auto zone they had a truck lowering shackles. putting them on the jeep did the opposite affect and lifted mine 2-3 inches. only coasted me 20 bucks.
