Spacers?
I just got an Xj and ive been reading up on spacers. I have read both good and bad reviews on them and am truely stuck. My intensions are to get about an inch to and inch and a half more of clearance just so that I will have a little easier of a time with bigger tires. I will not be doing alot of off roading this is mostly for looks and so that I do not have to trim the fenders. What do you think? I am new to the jeep world and have no idea how to gain an extra inch and a half cheaply.

I think if you only do minor off-roading spacers will be fine. I was planning on putting some on mine, but i'm getting a TJ and i'm gonna put them on that instead. Don't put blocks in the rear though, i've heard nothing but bad things about them.

Spacers are a good option for a little lift. im running them with blocks in the rear (i know bad, but they were free...) and love the look over stock. Looks alot better now. Plus it doesnt hamper the shocks.
