Sound System ?.
Im running a sony head unit, 2 pioneer premier speakers in the front, stock speakers in the back along with 2 12" MTX terminator subwoofers. sounds beautiful already but the amp that came along with the subs is only 500 watts (i believe) and im wondering what sort of amp i should upgrade too. i was thinking 1000 but im not sure of the specifics i need in order to buy one.
Also does anyone have subs that vibrated your license plate? if so how did you silence the vibration

They're rated at 400wRMS. If you were to buy another amplifier, look into cadence, clarion, sundown, soundstream, jbl. Something that is 400wrms at 2 ohms.

Class D monoblocks(1 channel) are always your best bet for component drivers(subwoofers). Main reasons being is they are reliable and efficient.
You want to stay away from certain companies, that reason being they are cheap, they run at a low efficiency(ex. only 50% of specified wattage) and they are problem prone. Some of these cheap companies include boss, hifonics, dual, jvc, kenwood, pyle, etc.
Good brands, Sundown, Cadence, Clarion, Soundstream, RE, DC, JBL, Lanzar is ok, MB Quart, Orion, Planet Audio and Pioneer are great for beginners.
As far as I see on that sight, these would be your best bet-

If you have the cash this is an amp that will power your subs with some headroom left over. It will also allow you to upgrade your sub(s) later if you desire. I have a TXA-750d powering an Kicker CVR10. Cadence make killer amps and my understanding is they underate their amps output.

I tried locating a link for Profile amps on a couple site I've ordered from but nothing there. Profile AP-1000m. Low cost but quality amp and they do rated power.
Just another couple of options.

If your subs are dual four ohm coils then you could wire them for a one ohm sub and get a massive class D amp 1 ohm capable that will knock your socks off. That's what I did. Sounds great and vibrated a light fixture off the ceiling inside my house... good luck with body panels staying on though :P

If I was to install component 3 way speakers with an amp, how would I wire it up? Have the 4 channel amp that will be powering up 4 component speakers. From my understanding I won't necessarily need crossovers as I'm not wiring in a sub. But it the wiring all the same as if I was wiring a sub, but just to 4 speakers instead?
