Hi all!

I could use some help diagnosing an issue. Failed safety inspection twice now, fixed two problems the first time, then two new ones the second time. As I was on the way to the shop two MORE came up...bout ready to sell. Recently done: Rear drums/pads, front rotors/pads/calipers, master cylinder, front passenger axle shaft/ujoint/yoke, pipe above cat rewelded. The problem with the exhaust pipe was grinding noise we thought was the transfer case, so that was disconnected from the drive temp while we fixed it, now reconnected.

Anyways, current problem: P0135 and P0463. Today as I was driving, intermittent sputtering when accelerating. Occasional pops, from the rear I think, when it finally jumped forward. Seems to stop after 'warming up' and driving for awhile. But after stopping and going it will do it again.

Fuel pump? O2 sensors? Saw some threads on here that had CPS, TPM, other things listed. Where should I start? I am new and learning as I go so diagnostics is not a strong suit, yet...TIA

 

Sounds like the oxygen sensor may be bad. Also is your fuel gauge working?

 

Fuel guage has been on the fritz lately too. It will show empty on start up then go up after a minute or two.
