soo.. about my wipers
one works. the other doesnt (passenger)

Linkage probably came loose. Just remove the wiper arms and cowl panel (a few screws) and take a look.

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
Go to the HELP section at the parts house and buy new bushings for the linkage, make sure to clean and lube the ball ends and careful not to break the new bushings when installing them.

I was going to install school bus wipers from the top because that would be easier and cheaper than the obvious fix
