If you can only afford to buy a pos lift then it will ride like a pos, He is going to make a good riding dd with mild off road capabilitys, so must be he is going to invest a bit of money in too the suspention. So just because you shop at WALL MART doesnt mean the rest of us have too.(cyber bully he must still be in school)lol ////yup sry spelling
Can we get back on topic now?
Rich and mike get it. I got super lucky when I found this rig. I plan on keeping it for twenty+ years; I'm sparing no expense to keep it flawless.
It seems the OME 2" and BFG all terrain is the favorite here. I've always loved the BFG AT's... I think I'm mostly sold on them.
What about this BDS lift? I've not heard of them.

All I have handy is a crappy camera that does not do justice to my girl. She's much more pretty in person, but how could I stick this truck in mud or tip it on it's side (which I've done more than once with the blue one on page one)?

I'll buy a beater for that....

Yes it is. A short review: For an inexpensive head unit, it's quite impressive. The store I was in wanted $310. I pulled out the droid and scanned the barcode... $239 on amazon.com. They matched the price.
Keeping in mind that I got single DIN (flip out) 7" DVD player for 230 bucks, it's quite equipped. It has both AV (4 pole 3.5mm) and the standard ipod inputs, A/V and USB in the front (which I use mostly for flash drives and my cell phone), video out, 4 pre amp audio outs and sub out. It's navigation ready, and bluetooth ready (both require additional hardware, if you will). I'll be purchasing the nav unit shortly... I'll tell you how it works. I plug in the droid and listen to commercial free internet radio, watch movies at lunch, etc. There's a neat tilt feature for the screen, and brightness and contrast are easily accessible. Overall it's a real good bang for your buck.
Cons: It can be slow when switching sources, and the balance and fade are very limited as is the EQ (However I have a sub and aftermarket speakers and the balance is perfect in the jeep).
I do NOT regret buying it, but after owning my first media player/navigation unit, I would probably spend a few more dollars.

I stuck my amp and video output for the rear under the seat. Hope I don't sink this one

Sorry, forgot a link...
Amazon.com: Phase Linear UV10 Flip Out MultiMedia Receiver with 7-Inch Touch Screen (Black): Electronics
Although the screen blocks your AC vents, you don't need it open on a regular basis. There are simple controls on the front, or just use the remote.

I have a BDS lift on my 2000 it is a bit stiff compared to a OME lift but its still new, the lift on the wife s xj is ome and I think you would be happier with that one as far as comfort.
