Are you trying to remove the whole panel or just the black pocket area?

I don't have an old one anymore. But I believe you have to take the bottom panel off. And I thought there were a few screws in the glove box. I'll check my Haynes manual when I get home.

you remove the panel below it to access the lower screws and the glovebox to access the upper screws.

Difficulty varies in relation to the Persons aptitude with the use of a screwdriver.
Asking quastion can save lots of time and wasted effort.. Take the AC control of my wifes hyundai.. I dis-assembled 1/2 the dash looking for the screws.... Only to find out, I just need to to remove 4 screws on the surround and then pop it out of it's SNAP-Fit mounting. I couldn't SEE the screws, because they didn't exist. Turn a 20 minute job into about 8 hours of cussing.
