SOLUTION: Turn off key-in chime when door open - 2000 Cherokee

Well, I managed to disable the key in chime, but the headlight reminder went with it.
To do this, I removed the driver's side kick panel and located the three wire connector (C317) that connects the door jamb switch. On the female side (door side) there are three wires. Black Yellow and Black with a light blue tracer in the middle. I pulled the pin out for the black/Blue wire and now I have a door activated dome light but no ding-ding.
I taped up the exposed pin to finish the job.

I would disconnect the headlight switch so you don't risk leaving the headlights on and draining the battery. Driving at night with headlights is over rated anyhow.
