Default Soldering injector harness?

So the PO of my jeep installed a crappy aftermarket remote start. For the tach source he spliced into the #4 injector control wire. It's cut about halfway thru, about half the strands still hanging on. My question is, how sensitive to resistance is the injector harness? If I solder this connection back up am I going to cause issues? I know solder does add resistance, although it may be very minimal.

Solder it up and insulate it. You'll be fine.
