Default Snapped a Fuel line on the trail tonight.....Steel Braided Replacement?

So we took some new (to us) un-explored trails...came up on a BIG hole So it was dark we didn't know where we were.

I decided to go for it...Plunged in. jeep makes it 5 feet and cuts out with NO warning....so my buddy pulls me out.
we though maybe we sucked up a bit of water...well every time we turned the key we heard a sound like pouring water...it tooks us a few mins to put 2 and 2 together.

I snapped the plastic line off at the Quick disconnect.....Im not sure if the DS hit it or a hidden stick. Long story short we put a piece of rubber hose and zip ties on it to get it out...

Is there a company that makes a steel braided replacement? or am i stuck to a JY replacement?

If you didnt cut that steel line at all you just need the rebuild kit for the quickclip. My dealer charged me like $10..

I cut the piece of plastic line....but i knew better than to cut any steel lines.....

I know for a fact i have seen some 2000+ Grand cherokees in the JY with Steel braided lines at the Fuel rail.....but im unsure if they are SB at the firewall bend where it broke.

This Picture Show the Stock XJ Line And the Grand Cherokee Line On the Fire wall/Frame Rail side.
You can see where my Stock Plastic XJ line Failed from something hitting it on the Trail.
The GC line is about a inch longer but fits Great.

This Picture Shows the XJ and Grand Cherokee Line side by side on the Fuel Rail/Intake side.

You can See the the Grand Cherokee Line is Steel Braided on this End Also...while the XJ line is Plastic.

Pop in the Fuel Line Disconnect tool. Twist and Pull the line..

And it will pop off like so......... You will also need to do this at the bottom half of the XJ line also.

Remove the 10MM screw holding the metal Bracket and slip the line out of the Black plastic Holder and pull the old line out....Install is Reverse of Removal.

Now with this mod you no longer have to worry About a stick or trail Debris Hitting the Plastic Brittle Fuel line and Leaving you stranded 2 miles into the woods like what happen to me. The line Cost me 5$ at my local JY and 20 min to put it on.
