"smooth idle, misfires with throttle"
I have A 2000 Jeep Cherokee, 4.o, straight 6, about 106,ooo miles. It was idling in driveway the other day and just died. Would not start back up. I took battery out and had bench tested, Said it was good and fully charged. I replaced air filter, oil filter, and spark plugs. Same result, strong cranking with no start. Put in the shop to have CPS replaced. Fired right up and idled great. Mechanic calls me and says its good to go. when he backs it out of bay as soon as he gives it gas it dies. We pull the codes and get "bad coils A,B,AND C. I get new coil rail from parts store and install. No change, still starts everytime, idles perfect, but as soon as you push throttle its starts to run rough and DIES!! Any suggestions would be appreciated

If you are still setting codes, please post the EXACT code numbers here for the most accurate replies. Also GOOGLE those codes + Jeep as usually somebody else has had the same issue you're having.
