Default smoke coming from dash/center console when going uphill

ive noticed since last week when im going up hills on the road . this white smoke or steam comes from the bottom of my dash. sometimes even looks like from where the shifter is, its hard to tell where it is coming from really. it only happens when i go uphill, somewhat of a hard pull. please help me get to the bottom of this!! thanks!

Is your A/C on and does it continue to blow air out of the dash vents when this happens?

Does it smell like antifreeze, burning oil or burning rubber. Without knowing this everything would be just a guess.

my ac is not on and the smoke goes away when the street levels out and i stop climbing. it really hard to tell what it smells like cause its so faint and only for a few seconds, ive noticed sometimes i get a smell of antifreeze when the truck is off, inside the cab, only sometimes though. last week for a couple days i noticed oil had come out of my dipstick when i came back to the jeep after work. its not milky i just changed the oil and has not done it since, not sure if this is related

If it was an electrical fault causing the wire insulation to emit smoke, a fuse would have blown, unless an aftermarket radio, or some other gadget, was installed without using a fuse rated for the wire size.

Does it smell like an electrical [fire]?

Pull off the bezel that surrounds the radio, climate controls, and the switch panel, and sniff around. Usually, melted/burnt wires will have a residual smell.

I would guess leaking heatercore. Maybe when the angles are just right or just that extra bit of load/heat lets some leak.

If smells like anti-freeze I would say you have it leaking somewhere under the hood and it is getting on something hot. If it's smells like oil I would say an exhaust leak. (Like the notorious header where it attaches to your exhaust down pipe.) Get a light and check closely.
