Default Small rust hole in hard to access spot

There's a maybe dime size rust hole inside one of the leaf spring shackle holders so can't get in there to weld anything. Would something like JB weld steel stick be a good choice? Or what do you do in this situation?

A picture would help to get a visual on what is happening.

JB weld would be useless in this situation. If the shackle is that badly rusted, you may need a new one. There are some aftermarket options. You grind off the old one and weld on the new one.

Without the pic I'm just guessing, but it sounds like remove the rear spring so there is room to get in there and weld the hole.

I went ahead and ripped up the back carpet and cut/welded a new piece in
