i just bought a blazer with a 4.3 but it had a 233c t-case thinking of putting that tranny and case in and retro fitting drive shafts what do you guys think

I am not familiar with that case either, but a little quick research says they use the same chain. So I don't see any problem with that.

I googled it and found thta there are two variants, pre and post '00. pre '00 seems to have a wider chain (1.25") and the post-00 has a narrower (1").

Is this the electronicaly shifted version of the 231?

started pulling the jeep engine tonight. got chevy engine,transmission and t case sitting on floor ready to go in. trying to get mostly done over thanksgiving weekend if i dont have to work will be posting pictures if i can figure out how sometime during weekend
