So my 00' Cherokee has been kinda sluggish. At stops to hard acceleration it's still peppy, but I'm driving at street to highway speeds and press the gas pedal down a quarter of the way it barely speeds up if at all, keep pressing down further, downshift, there we go. I don't remember having to downshift so much for normal driving. I recently went to put a cowl intake in and had the wrong folder size (doh) so it's currently a short ram intake. Could this be my issue?
I was also thinking about checking my fuel pump, but am skeptical since it runs fine with throttle open more. Any ideas?

 

Oh, sometimes when I hit 1/4 gas pedal acceleration the rpms will jump 500rpm more like it should but then bogs back and slowly starts rising until it downshifts

Thank you! It helped quite a bit. My TB cable was super loose, this tightened it back up.
I am still had a loss of power until I rigged up a snorkel. All power + back. Wahoo!
