Sloppy front end
I have a stock 1998 xj with 110k. Lately the steering feels sloppy and the front end feels loose. I was wondering if it is common to replace the various front end bushings at this age and mileage. Thanks for any info

^This, 17 years and 110k mi, if all the front end parts are the originals, the bushings (control arms and sway-bar), tie-rod ends, ball-joints, sway-bar end links, and shocks are all likely due (or overdue) for replacement. And while it's mostly apart it probably wouldn't hurt to do the u-joints as well.
Most stuff on a front end is good for about 70k to 100k depending what it is.But its always a good idea to check everything once a year and replace stuff when it wears out no matter the mileage.
