Default Slipping or TC issue?

96 xj had some hesitation issues with the go pedal at a certain position replaced the tps cleared it right up. Other night I adjusted the TV cable and wow was it loose. Had to push the pedal way too far to drop out of OD. Issue I'm having now is around 55 or so with the go pedal pushed around 2/3s of its travel (or right before the Trans kicks down) I'm getting a good hesitation. What I mean is it'll pull and ease off pull and ease off without any pedal position change. Almost feels like a slip but the rpms decrease and increase with the change I can hear it in the exhaust note. So I believe it's TC locking and unlocking. I plan to check the brake switch and wire connectors soon. Any advice is really appreciated. Also how tight are yall running your tv? I pushed my back in connected it and turned the throttle wide open and thats all the adjustment I made thanks

Thanks but that's exactly how I adjusted mine. I'm thinking this is an electrical issue. On the way to work this morning while cruising I would tap the brake with my foot still on the gas and it would kick out of lock up

That's how it's supposed to work. There is a switch on the brake so it does that.

I know I'm just trying to cover all my bases and give as much info as possible. Didn't do it on the way to lunch today has to be a bad connection at this point.
