1992 XJ Sport- 135K- 4.0 L H.O.

When I first drive my XJ I hear a clattering noise (not real loud) that sounds like it comes from behind the speedometer. Guess it may be dry cable etc, and does not sound as it coming from engine.
Just wanted to check if others have had or heard the same noise in their XJ? or if you think it could be engine related. Engine is overall strong and as you drive it out during the day the noise is less noticeable.

Probably someone else drive it and won't notice it, but I hear it often, and just trying to find different things That I can check on.

Try disconnecting the speedo under the 🚙. Easy deal, possibly your issue. R
