Default Sliding Rag Top or Chop Top?

What do you guys think would be the cooler modification: a sliding rag top or a chopped top (rear section only)?

Either way, I know it would be an extensive modification that would require much work, cursing, sweating and no going back once the angle grinder hits the body, but your opinions and pros and cons for each would be much appreciated in making this decision.

I'd say go with the sliding rag top. Someone on here posted a link to a good system (I don't have the link anymore), the only drawback is I think that with a hard driving rain that it can leak ... also I wouldn't think that it would be too warm, but of the 2 thats the one I'd be more inclined to do. Doing the chopped back seems like a whole ton of work and I'm not personally a fan of the look but, to each his own.

This is the rag top Web site: http://www.slidingragtops.com/

It costs around $550 for a 35"x50" for a 97+ XJ.

i vote sliding ragtop

it seems like wasted space to chop the back, what good is a 2 1/2 foot truck bed when done right it looks pretty cool though

My vote is, Chop the rear And add the sliding rag-top.
