Slave Cylinder Pivot

Slave Cylinder Pivot
Replacing the external slave cylinder on my 1985 jeep Cherokee. the old slave had a plastic pivot on the end of the slave rod, the new one does not, ordered a plastic pivot, question is how do I attach the pivot to the end of the slave rod?
