slack in steering

Default slack in steering
I a little slack in the steering on my xj. What do yall think is the most likely problem. I'm working on a limited budget at the moment so i 'm trying to get close the problem the frist time.

Make sure everything is tight down there.

I'd make sure the tre's are torqued to spec and the trackbar...Also you can tighten the steering box just not sure how other then there is suppose to be an adjustment screw and you don't want to over tighten it.
