Hey XJer's,

I have a 96 XJ Sport and recently was given a Sirius Radio. I sat in the Jeep last night for an hour trying to find a good clean place to mount it. I want it to permantly have a mounting spot but still be able to take the radio portion out to lock up when not in use.

Just wondering if others had this issue....where did you mount the radio and also where did you mount the antenna?

All pics/ideas/suggestions welcome....

 

I have Sirius radio too on my 96 XJ. I have the antenna on the back of the roof, centered a few inches from the hatch door. Running and hiding the wire on the trim is pretty easy. Then I just ran the wire through the glove box and out to the center console where I just have it laying there. It allows me to just reach over with my right hand while driving and change the channels. I have the channel presets memorized so I don't even have to look at the radio and be distracted. I have thought of making holes and running the wires better, but they don't bother me. And having the radio next to me on the center console is much easier than having to reach over to a set point.
