Default Sipe your tires?

I want some M/Ts from TreadWright but where I live, it gets very icy and snown and M/Ts aren't the best for that so, I was thinking of getting some and have them siped.

Anyone have this done? How do you like the results?

That guy seems to like his results and has a pretty nice write-up if you are interested in doing it yourself.

Pshhh...warranties are for girls. Actually, that's one of my major drawbacks.

I will probably do it when I order some new 31" MTs from Treadwright. At $70 a tire, I don't mind voiding a warranty on them. Now if it was a $150 tire that would be a little harder to swallow.

Why not get the ultra grip tires from treadwright and then you will be ok. I think it may only be 10 dollars more a tire.

Then they would do good on ice/snow?

Because I was planning on getting the Ultra-Grips.

These are the ones I plan on getting:

Ya know I would be all over the treadwrights but one major downfall no 32" tires..I think 32's would look nice on the keep and 31's would still look small.
