+1. Auto adjusters are not reliable, particularly in climates with moisture or heat.

Hey lol I live in Oregon where the temp is never high nor the humidity. Plus we don't got salt thrown down during winter, it should work then right? Not being a jack *** but I'm just trying to get a dignities answers, not "money grows on trees..."

I did the ZJ/WJ booster/MC upgrade and pretty happy with it. Aftermarket pads can help too.

Didn't read all the posts so somebody might have said this about the bias: If you do a ZJ/WJ booster/MC upgrade there is something inside the valve that can be removed to change the bias. I wouldn't exactly call it adjusting. Sorry I don't have the details but google can help.

I didn't say high temp or high humidity. Basically if you don't live on the moon the autoadjusters suck ***. You can try it (you have, haven't you?) but don't expect it to WORK.

If the drum brakes have been serviced make sure everything was re-installed correctly with no "spare parts" left over. Self adjusters usually work OK until things start seizing up.

The self adjusters work like crap here in Arizona. Does that give you a bit of a clue?

They are called self adjusters because you have to adjust them your self..
