I recently had problems with my signals.

first the dreaded "buzzing" from the relay/flasher started.

removed relay, took it apart.... completely toast.

replace relay.

still buzzing.

replace turn signal switch.

still buzzing.

check all bulb sockets, everything fine.. apply dielectric grease, move on.

tirelessly search to find ground connections... everything fine.

remove trailer wiring box .

still nothing.

I bought this Jeep brand new.... all wiring looks perfect.

From everything I've read this problem is USUALLY the flasher or turn signal switch...

so I buy another new flasher..... no improvement.

I send the signal switch back to Rockauto and they send a new one.


BINGO.

seems the turn signal switch was bad. FROM THE FACTORY!

talk about pissed and happy at the same time.


I guess the moral of the story is, Don't assume new parts are actually good.

That was the first lesson taught on the first day of Intro to Automotive Tech. Had to re-learn that lesson through experience a couple of times over the years. Glad you got it fixed!
