Does anyone know a cheap place to find sierra pearl paint? paint codes pu7. My hood is chipping really bad so I wanna redo it. Hovis wants 60 bucks a pint...
Sienna Pearl Coat PU7, is that what you're looking for?
www.tcpglobal.com shows single stage Acrylic Urethane for $58/Qt + reducer (Qt) and hardner (1/2pint) ~$30. I don't see pints of paint as available but if you buy a Qt you'll have left over for touch-ups.
Not sure if you intend to use single stage or basecoat/clear coat but it sounds like you intend to use a paint gun.

freegdr, that's a easy to use site you gave the link to, have you used their paint before? I've never heard of them.
I did notice the paint is "urethane based, base-coat/clear-coat applications" and at $65 for a Qt of base coat + $25/Qt of clear it's not super cheap. Looks like they don't offer reducer or hardener so the paint is apparently pre-mixed, meaning you buy a Qt of paint and that is the amount you can spray. Where the paint I linked to needs reducer and hardner added 4:1:1 (paint:reducer:hardener) giving you 3 sprayable pints for $90 vs 1 Qt (2 pints) of base and clear for $90 from expresspaint.

$90 gets you single stage Acrylic Urethane for $58/Qt + reducer (Qt) and hardner (1/2pint) ~$30 = ~$90. If you need primer (2 part only primer, no rattle can paint!! with urethane paints) that'll be more, of course. Give tcpglobal a call, they will explain what you need. You never cleared up the conflicting paint code/paint name. Sienna Pearl Coat is PU7 which is dark brown/red. You had said Sierra Pearl which is medium brown.
