Default Side trim panel removal

I took of my outer trim panels for my doors yesterday and was curious, what is the best way to remove the adhesive tape?

goo gone, or some kind of alcohol or citrus base cleaner should do the trick.

or a grinder with flap disc. then just repaint or rocker guard...

I had to take vinyl logos off a fleet of Ford Rangers a few years back and a heat gun and plastic scraper worked great and didn't damage the finish.

Heat gun to get off big stuff and any of the adhesive cleaners out there. Can be found at Home Depot.
