Hello i am not sure what this part is or if you have to replace the whole mirror on my 1991 jeep cherokee limited. I have attached a picture it looks like it’s a cover that covers the hinge of that mirror but I could be way off base anyway it’s broken and I would like to replace it just wondering if I would have to place them here or does anyone know what this part might be called.

The parts manuals just show the part numbers for the whole mirror assemblies so I'm going to guess you'll struggle to get a proper replacement on its own. Funnily enough I'm actually currently 3D printing a set of those exact parts for someone who needs a set. I've had a set on mine for nearly 2 years now.

Here's a link to the print files which is also in my description: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2927597

I'd imagine a lot more than it'd be worth doing when you factor in postage, material cost, time involved etc. There are loads of website where you can get things printed and posted to you, just search for "Online 3D printing". I cannot recommend any website as I have never used one, nor needed to so you'd have to do a little research. Generally all you'd have to do on those websites is download the STL file from my link above and upload it to them.

Failing that, feel free to send me a PM as I would print them for you but it would certainly be cheaper to get them done by a service in the US.

I bought a switch bezel from a forum member here who sells his stuff through here:

https://www.shapeways.com/

I think you could get it printed there but.....

I used boxburn's NSS removal tool file and had my neighbor print it up for me.
Know anybody with a 3D printer?

My pass side mirror has that piece missing for quite some time. The mirror works fine without it. My driver side broke too but I had other damage to it. I was lucky enough to find a Chrome one in a JY

You could buy a black one for a few bucks less and harvest the part out of it in case your mirror is Chrome. You;d then have other spare parts like the glass, just in case.
