Okay, so this week we got a lot of snow and I decided to take the Jeep out and do a little snow wheeling, nothing insane just cruising. While we are out the Jeep would shut off when down shifting and not crank after about 15 minutes it cranked back up and we went on. well 10 minutes later it shut off again and wouldn't start it was like the battery was dead. and it was just click. The next day I jumped it off with my truck and it did fine for about 30 minutes and same thing shut off and wouldn't crank. Here is where it gets a bit complicated this Jeep has a neutral button to start so it must be pushed when turning the key to start. Another important tidbit is that the temp gauge was well in the red but even as it set over night it stayed there and didn't move so I do not know how reliable that really is. A few days ago I went to get the tires balance because I had death wobble like a mother
that didn't really help and it seems that this problem started right after that. I dont know if that may be a correlation or not but I am a little lost any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Heat causes resistance in electrical systems. In other words, the hotter a wire gets, the less it conducts electricity.
It sounds like you have a bad ground connection which is already causing high resistance in the system, and the heat is creating MORE resistance which your battery/alternator can't overcome.
Check ground connections and go from there. Have your battery and alternator tested.

On top of that I need some direction on the death wobble at 40mph it is thumping I'm thinking it needs to be aligned since I just put a lift on it.
