should i have just done it my self?

jeeps at the shop now it needs both rear axle seals and bearing its gonna cost 350. first does that price seem fair and second with out air tools or a press could i have done this job myself? it needs front hubs too but i know i can do that.

go to youtube and look up cherokee axle seal. There is a killer video of a guy doing his. should be 3 or 4 videos total. helped me out big time. just need a dent puller/slide hammer really.

Do it yourself, it is not that hard, get another pair of hands to assist you. I helped my buddy change the seals on a CJ 7 which is much harder as it had two piece axles, (changed to one piece at that time). Your Jeep is much easier, get any jeep service manual. You can do it and you do not need air tools. You will need a BFH though. If you take the axles to any shop they will press them for you for $15.00....
