Hi guys,
99 XJ running aluminum jeep "wagoneer" wheels. The rear wheel studs seem really short for this! The studs don't reach all the way through the tapered open wheel-nuts, several threads on the nuts still show.
Strangely on the front the studs are a bit longer, being flush with the nuts. I always liked a few threads of the stud to show through the nuts!
Only bought the rig last year, not sure if these wheels are stock or not. They haven't fallen off, but I don't entirely trust them..
Anyone else found this on their rig? Are the rear studs shorter than the front?

When I did my ZJ disc brake swap I had to swap out studs because the XJ studs where too short for the disc brake backing plates and my Moab Wheels. I just bought 10 new ZJ studs and installed them, they were just long enough to get the job done.
