Default short in the harness?

1996 Xj, 4.0l, 5 speed. My issue is that the big jumbo 30 amp blade fuse for my ignition coils and fuel pump keeps popping. It happened the first day, I replaced it, drove 40 miles, let it set a few hours, came back and now its popping them as soon as it starts. I didn't know if this was a common problem or if I have to go over the wiring to find something wrong.

Blown fuses are caused by either a short circuit or excessive amp draw.

High amp draw is the result of a bad load in the circuit. A load is any component that reacts to current flow.

Improper grounding/shorted wire. Faulty component drawing excessive power. Short in fuse/relay box (doubtful)... Maybe faulty ignition.
