I ended up finding a local shop to instal a tail pipe, muffler, cat, and exhaust tip for a total of 75 dollars labor. I took it. Sounds amazing too!

Thats a much better price...i just got a quote to install dual exhuast on my 89 chevy new pipe from the downpipes back, and they said around $200.

That is exactly why you should get at least two quotes for repair jobs, unless of course you have a trusted shop and technician.

The variation in labor charges can be significant.
