i recently put a RC 3" lift into my xj. within a few days it seems to have settled around 2.5".i used the standard shocks with the kit. here's the question; if i raise the front/rear 1-1.5" with spacers/shackles, will i have to change the shocks to allow for the increased lift?

 

yes and a few other things, basically the stuff that comes with the 4.5 lift minus what you have which unless you got lower control arms then you need to buy basically everything, my guess that the rear settled? if so you might need full leaf pack instead of aal but even then that is to much settle too fast. And just so you know if you didn't already shocks do not support the weight of the vehicle as in better shock wont lift your jeep, they just cussion the blow while driving. hope this helps

 

actually i saw in your avatar w/e that you did get the full packs, so i guess that is not the problem.
