Default Shocks..

Anyone ever run the 2.2 series shocks from RC? Jason told me I can run jk's/tj's on my xj...I guess. It'll be 100 dollars more, so I need to know if it's worth the extra 100. Or if the basic shocks you get in the RC kits are THAT bad as everyone says they are..I've been on naxja and here getting mixed answers. Thanks.

Bump.

Actually I change this. The shocks on my stock jeep now are really not terrible, basically what I'd expect from a jeep. So, you'd think any shocks would be better than the stock ones?

Get some monroe sensatrac shocks. They're pretty cheap and work very well.

Jason will not steer you wrong. Just honestly ask him if it is worth the difference. When I purchased my 3 in lift kit from him I honestly asked him about the shocks that came with it and he said our shocks suck but they are cheap and do the job, and that if I had the extra money to buy them elsewhere.

So, are you running stocks, RC's or some other brand?

RC cause he sold them to me for 12.50 a shock so I couldn't beat that price anywhere.

X2, I had them for quite a long time and they were great. For small lifts it made it drive like a caddy lol.
