Shocker
I need a little pointing in the right direction. I know this will be mostly opinion, but to me, it will help. Im looking for a new set of shocks. I cant decide between RE twin tubes which are about $199 for 4, Bilstein 5100's which are about $319 for 4, or RE mono tubes which are about $319, or Edelbrock's which are about $385 for 4. I am getting REALLY SICK and TIERED of the POOR highway performance of theses cheap rustys brand shocks. REALLY...
As long as the shocks are very comfortable on the highway I will be flexible on the $$$$
Thanks

I am running RE Twin Tubes and they will right about as rough as your basic RC shocks..I'd bet the Bilsteins or Mono Tubes and spend the extra cash. I wish I had spend the added cash for better shocks..

May i recommend old man emu? they are about the same price as blisteins and just about as good, maybe even better. I never will run another shock because they are the best i've had and i've been through 7 different brands of shocks.

I'm running RE mono tubes. They ride good, but one of my rear ones failed after only a year - the cap came off the cylinder and all the fluid leaked out, so I basically have one rear shock now - the other one's just for looks. I contacted RE about it to see if they had any type of warranty but I got no response.

I just ordered the Bilstein 5100's and extended s/s front brake lines. Looking forward to a much better ride and improved brake pedal feel.
Thanks for the help

One additional shock to consider and that is BDS they are awesome both on and off road. I have tried all those mentioned above except the Rusty's and by far these BDS are the best riding I have tried. Clicky
