Is there any reason why the left shock is mounted behind and the right shock is mounted in front of the D35 rear axle?
On a YJ with also a rear D35 and leaf springs itīs different.

Same as the C 8.25, other then the engineers fitting it there in relation to other components under the XJ... I don't know.

Maybe to help control axle wrap

But why didnīt they do that on Yj Jeeps? They have the same axle and also leaf springs.
