will they pull codes for you for free....

 

advance auto will scan for free as well as several other parts stores

 

okay thanks i thought they did just wanted to make sure before i stopped in and asked...what all do they have to do in order to pull the numbers

 

They just hook up the scan tool to the connector under the dash panel driver's side. What year model is your jeep? On my 97 tj you could turn the key off an on 3 times and the codes would show up on the odometer. 98 and newer you need the scan tool.
