shock boot location?
I'm a noobie to putting new shocks on, so I was curious about how far down the actual shock itself do you slide the bottom portion of the boot and then ziptie it? I want to make sure I put it in the right spot so later on it doesn't work itself upward. Thanks for any info

I do not have them on mine anymore, have heard good and bad about them, some feel they collect dirt and moisture which hurts the shock,I paid $3 each for mine. Personal choice in my opinion.

boots arent necessary, more for looks. I dont run boots so I can see the condition of the rods, boots will hide a bent shock rod. its all about what you like.

My opinion is that if you are in a lot of dirt and mud, then the shock boots protect the shock enough that it doesn't have so much junk to scrape off the shaft.
