Get another bolt the same size, drill out the old one and weld the head on the new one to hold it in place.

Fixed er.

Cut the shaft off. Drilled threw. G8 5/8 bolt threw. Brandy new.

Good time to grab some JKS rear shock relocation brackets & weld them on. I always hated how our XJ rear shocks hung down so low. Cheap btu great upgrade.

I thought about doing this, but was worried that the shocks I just bought would be too long. It takes about 5 inches away.. If I had time and money, I would have done that right away. And maybe towers in the hatch area.
