shims with a SYE??

I know this is probobly a stupid question. I am doing an Iron Rock Hack & Tap SYE today and am removing the TC drop. Should I assume that the degree shims I put in will no longer be needed as well?? Thanks

do they come with? cuz i have shims but they were put on to help the vibes along with the tc drop

You have to shim the rear end so that the driveshaft is pointed directly at t-case output. actually it should about 2 degrees below that to compensate for axle wrap.
