Default Shift Solenoid???

Okay, I just dropped the transmission pan and changed the filter and fluid. But, I was intending to replace the #1 Shift solenoid that controls 1st gear and overdrive but, which one is it? I have a 98 Cherokee Sport with the AW4 4X4 with 4.0L.
Also, didn't realize that the dipstick was attached to the pan. What a pain that was to get out. I actually was only able to drop it far enough to change the filter and putting the gasket in was a bit of a pain too.
At this point I'm hoping that the filter and fluid change will help with my shifting problem. I have been manually shifting but, I don't have overdrive.
